Anais Marie Lee and her identical twin sister, Mirabelle Lee, were born on January 9, 2007.
Anais began her career at three years old as a print model appearing in numerous advertisements for major retailers and walking the runway in New York Fashion Week for Vogue Bambini, Rookie USA and other fashion brands. Anais and Mirabelle got their start in film and television when they shared the role of "Janie" in the crime thriller feature film "Blood Ties" directed by Guillaume Canet. Since then, Anais continues to film television, film and commercial roles and is best known for her role as Jessi Ramsey in the Netflix series, "The Babysitters Club" and Steph Greene in the Netflix series "The Upshaws".
Anais is a trained ballet dancer who earned her pointe shoes at 11 years old. Anais and Mirabelle have performed in Debbie Allen's musicals "Hot Chocolate Nutcracker" and "Brothers of the Knight"; danced in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on the Sesame Street float, and won the iced-out mic on Nickelodeon's "Lip Sync Battle Shorties" Twin Shorties episode. Alongside acting, Anais is a writer and activist and works to help promote literacy and help young black writers through her foundation The Beatrice Martin Foundation and writers group Black Writers of Tomorrow.
