Benedict Turnbull is a film producer, committed to telling captivating, engaging stories. Ben has had many award nominations for his work in film including: 'Candy floss' (2016) starring Barry Keoghan nominated for Best Short at the BFI London Film Festival 2016, 'Edmund the Magnificent' (2018) starring Ian Mckellen and David Bradley which was long-listed for BAFTA's Best British Short in 2019. Most recently 'Goldfish' (2019) was nominated at the BIFA's and was nominated for Best British Short at the 2020 BAFTA's. In 2021, Ben Co-produced Stephen Fingleton's sophomore feature film, Nightride, a one-shot thriller which released on Netflix in Spring '22. His debut feature film, 'Restless', premiered at Tribeca 2024 and Glasgow 2025. Restless ran a theatrical release across the UK-Ireland and was nominated for a the Raindance Maverick Award at 2024's BIFA's.
He serves as an Executive Producer on Paul Kennedy's debut feature film 'Dead Mans Money', supported by Northern Ireland Screen, and as an Co-Producer on Colum Eastwood's second feature film, 'The Morrigan', also backed by Northern Ireland Screen.
