Freddie
Freddie, is a writer, author, director, and producer making a true impact in the Charlotte community. He was born into a family of ministry and praise where he was taught the love of God and how to "live on purpose". This gave birth to his purpose and passion in life: writing and directing. After producing his first major gospel play "For the Love of Money", in Charlotte, North Carolina, Fred Forte Jr. decided to take "For the Love of Money" on the road. This major production was performed in the Greensboro and Salisbury area. Shortly afterwards, Fred Forte Jr. went on to produce his second major play "Club Hallelujah", which was performed in the Salisbury and Charlotte. Fred Forte Jr., completed an inspiring urban drama called "Open Book, Chapter Isaac", performed at the historic Sylvia Theater in York, South Carolina. Mr. Forte Jr. has gone on to produce several other productions such as "My Brothers Keeper", his first television show that appeared on Channel 21. Freddie has also partnered with several community organizations here in Charlotte such as The Salvation Army Center of Hope, The Boys and Girls Club, and The Mecklenburg County Bette Rae Center. Mr. Forte Jr. is well-known for his continued support with the youth and his previous youth production, "The Crew of 42nd St". He spends his time teaching and educating youth on film and theater. Fred Forte Jr. has been featured in HBCU Digest, County News, Salisbury Post, and the Charlotte Post. Also, he has appeared on major radio shows such as BarberShop Talk on WGIV, Real Talk with Brian P. and participated in several live interviews with WGIV 103.3 and FM Power 98. Freddie is the CEO of 3rd Day Films, LLC .
