Joi Marchetti

From composition to vocal performance, Joi is committed to enhancing stories and creating emotion through the power of music. She has composed works for The Signature Theater, The Park Avenue Armory, The New Ohio Theatre, and The Drama League in New York City. Her original music was performed as a part of the Up Close Festival, recommended as must-see immersive theatre by The New York Times and TimeOut New York. Her film scores have premiered at festivals including the Tide Film Festival, SF Dance Film Festival, and Culver City Dance Festival. The world premiere of her original composition for electronics and upright bass, Sestina, was premiered at the SF Contemporary Music Players RE: Visitations concert. She was a singer for Cirque Du Soleil's Quidam, where her passion for storytelling blossomed. She is a studio vocalist and session contractor for clients such as Sony Playstation, Formosa Entertainment, META, and Valve.
