Biography

    • As a young boy, Dillon Wilson loved watching movies! His 2 favorite genres were action adventure and comedies. He would daydream about being the hero in one story after another rescuing people in danger and saving the day. Flash forward years later, Dillon, now a US Military veteran, became the man who he never thought he'd end up being, a lead actor that does some of his own stunts in the film and TV business.

Thanks to a friend of his, who was a filmmaker from another country, Dillon was given his start in this business. The director needed Dillon and a few of his fellow martial artists to perform acting and stunts in their project. After this experience, Dillon fell in love with film and filmmaking. So much so that he decided to go to film school to become a director!

In film school, Dillon learned that to make action movies, he needed to have a stunt coordinator and that action movies were always very expensive to make. So after graduating film school, Dillon decided to learn about stunts AND acting from the inside.

He got professional training as a stunt performer and began working as one. He took to stunts like a fish to water because a lot of the things he did for film and TV he'd already been doing for years as his hobbies!

Dillon decided to train to become a professional Lead Actor (someone who could carry a movie, TV series/episode or even a scene). He trained at the Walnut Street Theatre in Pennsylvania, Los Angeles Community College as well as Peter Valentino's Acting Studio. He continues to get ongoing acting coaching with renowned acting coach Thomas Garner.

Dillon also added to his stunt skillet by becoming a licensed pilot, a licensed armor for the film and TV industry with the California Department of Justice, a certified firearms instructor with the National Rifle Association, a certified Range Safety Officer with the National Rifle Association, technical advisor as well as plethora of many other certifications with professional training organizations around the country and the world.

After a time, Dillon got mentored to become a stunt coordinator. This was the turning point in his career. Dillon began getting hired to stunt coordinate one project after another. Yet since he'd been trained as a director first, he approached stunts and action sequences completely differently than traditional stunt coordinators. He had an innate ability to get the same or better production value for his clients at a fraction of the cost of other stunt coordinators. Invariably his clients absolutely loved him and only ever wished to work with him moving forward.

Along the way Dillon also started his own elite tactical stunt team - CBT Stunt Alliance. Which specialized in not just performing all of the traditional stunts yet also portraying roles for elite military operators (i.e. SEAL TEAM 6, SWAT, Delta Force, etc.).

As word of his stunt team's reputation and exploits spread, more and more actors and stunt performers sought out Dillon to train them in stunts, movie tactical firearms training and movie martial arts weapons fighting. Dillon trained 100s of students over the years and is still close with many of them.

After many years, Dillon finally decided that he'd gained enough expertise as a stunt coordinator and armorer and decided to focus on directing (which was his reason for getting into the business in the first place) as well as Lead Acting.

Now after a very colorful career Dillon is known as a prolific director and a professional lead actor that does some of his own stunts.
