Studied Intimacy for Stage & Screen under Tonia Sina Campanella (Intimacy Directors International Co-Founder & Executive Director). Tanya was thrilled to encounter Intimacy Coordination on set for the first time while working on That's a Wrap (2019), where she got to perform in the care of Alicia Rodis (Intimacy Directors International Co-Founder & Associate Director). In June 2023, Tanya received her Consent-Forward Artist certificate through Intimacy Directors & Coordinators (IDC).

In Marvel comics, Dr. Jane Foster received her chemotherapeutic treatments at the Maria Wheelock Cancer Center - named after Tanya Wheelock and Autumn Wheelock's mom. Since its first appearance in Mighty Thor Vol 2 #1 (January 2016), The Maria Wheelock Cancer Center has appeared in multiple Marvel comic issues.

Tanya's favorite films are Moulin Rouge (2001), Captain America: First Avenger (2011), Big Fish (2003), and Lolita malgré moi (2004).

Proud to share a July 12th Birthday with Malala Yousafzai, Rachel Brosnahan, Cheyenne Jackson, and Oscar Hammerstein II. Often jokes about being an emotional Cancer sign.

Tanya ran the 2014 Run Disney Avenger's Half-Marathon (13.1 miles) for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, raising $1,936. She called it her "Shield Sock Cancer" campaign.

Tanya ran the 2015 Run Disney Infinity Gauntlet Challenge (19.3 miles over 2 days) for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, raising $2,034 as a continuation of her "Shield Sock Cancer" campaign.

Tanya studied voice-over one-on-one under Richard Tatum for over a year leading up to making her animation and interactive demos with him. She has also taken small group classes with Mick Wingert, in addition to following Steve Blum's virtual lesson platform.

Tanya studied 'Acting the Song' under Judy Kuhn at Michael Howard Studios in New York City.

In Florida, Tanya studied acting with Book From Tape Acting Studios (Jordan Woods-Robinson - focusing on Viewpoints and techniques from Tadashi Suzuki, Jerzy Grotowski, Rudolf Laban, and Harold Guskin), SAK Comedy Lab (Chelsea Hilend, Emily Fontano, Rebecca Siegel, & Adam Scharf - focusing on Improvisation), and ClassAct Studios (Landon Price & Lauren O'Quinn - focusing on techniques from Sanford Meisner).

In March 2017, Tanya got to visit Pinewood Studios in Atlanta, Georgia and don Black Widow's uniform to be considered as a body double for Scarlett Johansson on Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Avengers: Endgame (2019). As a big Marvel fan, she was thrilled to be in the running.

Tanya began her puppetry training at Walt Disney World when instructors, Tony Whitten, Scott Silson, William Horne, Rob Lott, and Chris Ianuzzi. were nice enough to let her attend their workshops even though she wasn't in the Entertainment department. She went on to study under John Tartaglia (with special workshop guest Bonnie Erickson).

While attending Morris Knolls High School - the same high school as Laura San Giacomo, Danny Blu, Lexie Fyfe, Neal Casal, and Danielle Jonas - Tanya joined the fencing team but also participated in school plays, musicals, and chorus. During her senior year, she was thrilled to perform with her high school chorus at Disneyland in Anaheim, California.

Tanya was a member of the live audience for Episode dated 30 June 2000 (2000), Episode dated 18 July 2003 (2003), Legally Blonde: The Musical (2007), Mark Moffett (2008), and Dara Torres (2009).

Tanya has a broadcast-quality voice-over studio at home consisting of a Studiobricks One Plus booth, Rode NT1-A Microphone, Universal Audio Apollo Solo Thunderbolt 3 Audio Interface with UAD DSP Pre-Amp, Sennheiser HD280PRO Headphones, and Source-Connect Standard. Both her Animation and Interactive demos were recorded using this set-up.

Tanya truly caught the acting bug as a child when she saw the original cast of 'Beauty and the Beast' on Broadway, starring Susan Egan. Her debut acting role was a Munchkin in her middle school's production of 'The Wizard of Oz'.
