Lee Tae-min , better known as Taemin, is a South Korean singer, actor, dancer and songwriter. He debuted at age 14 as a member of the group SHINee in May 2008, and his success and artistic impact has led him to being called the "Idol's Idol".He began his acting career in 2009 with MBC's comedy Tae-Hee, Hye-Kyo, Ji-Hyun as Junsu. Taemin began his solo career in 2014 with his debut album Ace and title track Danger. In July 2016, Taemin made his solo debut in Japan with the release of his second extended play, Sayonara Hitori. Since his debut Taemin has released 7 Korean studio albums and 4 Japanese EPs. In 2019 Taemin became a member of SM Entertainment's super group SuperM. Taemin has established himself as a prominent solo artist in the K-Pop industry and he is one of the most successful and respected artist often called by the Korean media LSMA-Legendary Solo Male Artist.
