Duck Dynasty: The Revival premiered on Sunday, June 1, and fans were quick to notice that Willie Robertson‘s brothers Jase Robertson and Jep Robertson, who starred on the original show when it ran from 2012 to 2017, were not featured in the episode. In a recent interview with Taste of Country, Sadie Robertson explained the reason behind her uncles’ absence. It simply came down to the family dynamics and who’s currently working at Duck Commander. “My mom [Korie Robertson] actually runs a lot of things up here at Duck Commander,” Sadie said. “I have my all of my podcast and Live Original team work out of Duck Commander. My brother, John Luke, works for my mom’s production company at Duck Commander. Willie Robertson and Korie Robertson‘s family will be at the forefront of Duck Dynasty: The Revival, which has given the couple, their six children, and several grandchildren the opportunity to bond like never before. However, not everybody was immediately onboard to start letting cameras into their lives eight years after the finale of the original Duck Dynasty. “Everyone kind of came at it differently,” Korie tells TV Insider. “Our younger kids just remember all the fun. Will [Robertson] and Bella [Robertson], they were young enough that it was just all fun. They got to be with their cousins all the time. John Luke [Robertson] and Sadie [Robertson] were a little older. It was their teen years when this was happening. So they definitely experienced maybe a little bit more of the hard sides of fame as teenagers.” While it “took them a minute to really think it through,” John Luke and Sadie eventually agreed.

Duck Dynasty fans can rejoice.
Duck Dynasty: The Revival finally has a premiere date on A&e.
The reboot was announced late last year when Willie Robertson dropped the bombshell while speaking to Tucker Carlson.
It has been seven years since the Robertson clan was on television, and they are working with the same network that aired the original Duck Dynasty.
More details about the reboot have become available with the announcement of the series debut, and it will focus heavily on Willie and Korie Robertson and their children as they navigate the next steps in life.
So much has changed, but their faith and outlook remain unchanged.
When will Duck Dynasty: The Revival air?
Earlier today, A&e released a tease for Duck Dynasty: The Revival.

A&e is rebooting — rebilling? — one of its most popular series from the 2010s with a new iteration of Duck Dynasty.
The new show, titled Duck Dynasty: The Revival, will once again follow the Robertson family as Willie and Korie Robertson focus on plotting the future for the family’s Duck Commander business and watch their own children deal with the challenges of adulthood. Duck Dynasty is back – eight years after it was canceled and ended up in the middle of a legal battle.
A&e is bringing the series back with Duck Dynasty: The Revival with a two-season order of 20 episodes in total. It will premiere in the summer.
The new season will focus on Willie and Korie Robertson and their growing family of adult children and grandchildren, the next generation of Robertsons living on the family homestead in Louisiana.
It will not, however, feature Phil Robertson, the controversial patriarch of the family, who has said some things in the past that have been homophobic and was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.
The show also has a new production company; it will be produced by Wheelhouse’s Spoke Studios and Willie and Korie Robertson’s Tread Lively Productions.
This comes after legal trouble at Gurney Productions, the ITV-owned company that originally produced the series.

Everyone is discussing Duck Dynasty after Willie Robertson’s interview with Tucker Carlson, and a renewed interest in the 11-season A&e show is brewing.
The Robertson clan is made up of various personalities, which helped to make the show as successful as it was.
Seven years after Duck Dynasty went off the air, a reboot of sorts is in the works.
Willie is arguably the face of the franchise, and that may be because his wife, Korie Robertson, suggested the family do a reality show.
Initially, the family was approached by a gun company to shoot a TV show for The Outdoor Channel using their products. It was called Duck Commander (like the business they run) and ran for three seasons.
However, that was just the tip of the iceberg.
Korie Robertson takes the reigns
Before the Robertsons signed on to work with The Outdoor Channel, Korie Robertson negotiated a talent fee for the men.

Duck Dynasty became a global phenomenon when the reality series premiered in 2012. The Robertson family was catapulted to stardom as millions of viewers followed the famous duck hunters and their personal lives in the heart of Louisiana. The A&e series ran for 11 seasons until 2017. The Duck Dynasty fandom remains strong to this day, and many have wondered about a possible revival. Willie Robertson opened up about why a Duck Dynasty revival is not in the cards. “We are looking into some different TV ideas,” Robertson told TV Insider while promoting The Blind. “But to recapture what we did before is really not gonna happen. Sadly, everyone’s gotten older, and we’re all in different places now. Our cast has expanded drastically. I have seven grandkids now, so we’ve got some ideas.” Even though a Duck Dynasty revival is off the table, the Robertsons aren’t retreating from the spotlight.

Duck Dynasty star Willie Robertson shows a new side of dad Phil Robertson in The Blind, streaming exclusively on Great American Pure Flix. For Willie, telling his father’s incredible life story and the love he shares with his longtime wife Kay Robertson was “important” for Duck Dynasty fans to see onscreen. “[Duck Dynasty] is really the result of something,” Willie tells TV Insider. “It’s a result of their marriage, staying together, and our family staying together. We really felt like it’s an unbelievable story. It’s a story of redemption and faith. And now after 50 years, you’ve seen what has come out of that, especially with the TV show.” Willie executive produced the film alongside wife Korie Robertson through their production company Tread Lively. They went straight to the source to make sure they portrayed Phil and Kay’s relationship honesty. “It’s hard to go back and relive all that,...

Duck Dynasty and the Metropolitan Opera are two very different cultural phenomena, but they have at least one thing in common: Fathom Events, the unique and prolific theatrical distributor based in Denver.
Over the past 20 years, Fathom has mastered the art of finding audiences for one-off cinematic events, from live broadcasts of opera, stage plays and live concert pics to anniversary rereleases of classic Hollywood films. A groundbreaking partnership with The Metropolitan Opera put Fathom on the map. Launched in 2006, The Met: Live in HD program, which sees about 10 operas a year beamed into theaters on Saturdays and Wednesdays, has generated more than $205 million in box office sales and consistently lands on a weekend’s top 10 list.
The company has also made a big impression in the faith-based and anime spaces (again, two disparate genres). Fathom ranked No. 9 on the list of top distributors at the 2022 domestic box office, with...
