The new feature "Deltopia", directed by Michael Easterling and Jaala Ruffman, stars Madison Pettis, Will Peltz, Sheila Shah, Charlie Gillespie, Luna Blaise, Easterling and Ruffman, will be released Augiust 29, 2023 on VOD:

"... every spring break, tens of thousands of college kids descend upon Isla Vista, California, for the ultimate street party with no rules and no boundaries.

"Inspired by true events, 'Deltopia' follows a group of recent high school grads who join the party, looking to celebrate their newfound freedom.

Olivia Newton-John’s ‘Deltopia’ Taken to Berlin by Grandave Intl. (Exclusive)

Grandave Intl. has acquired the international sales rights of dramatic feature “Deltopia,” executive produced by the late Olivia Newton-John, Tamara Nagahiro, Grandave Intl. head of sales, announced Sunday. CAA Film Finance and XYZ are handling U.S. rights.

Newton-John, whose best known movie performances included “Grease,” “Xanadu” and “Two of a Kind,” was a four times Grammy Award winning singer, and Golden Globe nominated actress. She died on Aug. 8 in California.

“Deltopia” is a coming-of-age story that takes place over a period of 24 hours. A group of friends from Southern California finish their last day of high school and travel to Santa Barbara for the biggest party of their lives.

Grandave Intl. will be introducing “Deltopia” to international buyers at next week’s European Film Market, which runs Feb. 16-22 in Berlin. The film is in post-production.

Mena Suvari, Mickey Rourke To Topline Action-Thriller ‘Hunt Club’

Exclusive: Mena Suvari (American Beauty) and Mickey Rourke (The Wrestler) will star alongside Casper Van Dien (Monsters of California), Maya Stojan (Newness), Will Peltz (13 Minutes) and Jessica Belkin (The Orville) in the action-thriller Hunt Club, which has wrapped production in Mississippi.

The film from director Elizabeth Blake-Thomas centers on a group of male hunters who routinely lure women to their island with the chance to win 100K in a hunt, only to find that they are the hunted. But this time, the men mess with the wrong three girls and suffer the consequences.

Hunt Club was written by David Lipper and John F. Saunders. Lipper and Robert A. Daly Jr. are producing under their Latigo Films banner, along with Mark Lester, Keli Price and Kipp Tribble. Kimberly Hines is the film’s executive producer.

XYZ Horror-Thriller ‘Man’s Son’ Adds Will Peltz, Sarah Dumont & Sydelle Noel As Voltage Pictures Launches Sales

Exclusive: Will Peltz (Unfriended), Sarah Dumont (Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse) and Sydelle Noel (Glow) have signed on to star alongside Frank Grillo, Jaime King, Katherine Hughes and Josh Plasse in the horror-thriller Man’s Son, with Voltage Pictures coming aboard to launch international sales ahead of the upcoming Marché du Film.

The XYZ Films title from director Remy Grillo centers on a young couple (Hughes and Plasse) hoping to create an aesthetically pleasing audition tape for an up-and-coming Charles Manson film. When they choose an eclectic desert Airbnb as the perfect backdrop, the dark events of the audition material slowly slip into their reality, until they find themselves intertwined in an occult, sinister plot led by King and Grillo’s characters.

Plasse and Brev Moss wrote the script, which is inspired by modern occult activity in the California desert, with production to kick off in Yucca Valley, California this month.

Exclusive: Luna Blaise (Manifest), Madison Pettis (Five Points), Charlie Gillespie (Julie And The Phantoms), Hart Denton (Riverdale), Greer Grammer (Awkward), Will Peltz (Unfriended), Daniella Perkins (Red Ruby) and Dylan Flashner (Lansky) are among the cast for coming-of-age drama Deltopia, which is currently in production in L.A.

The movie takes place over a period of 24 hours as a group of friends from Southern California finish their last day of high school and travel to Santa Barbara for “Deltopia,” the biggest party of their lives.

The film is loosely based on real events from the actual Deltopia, the annual unsanctioned street party held each spring in Isla Vista, Santa Barbara. In 2014, authorities arrested around 100 party-goers when the large event turned violent after one of the revellers was detained by police.
