Born in Misiones, Argentina, Leevon skyrocketed to instant fame in late
90s/early 2000 in Argentina by asserting that she was the long-lost
daughter of Marilyn Monroe and
John F. Kennedy, conceived by an
extramarital affair that both presumptively had. In the wake of her
allegations, she became subject of scrutiny by the local media, and was
constantly invited to TV gossip shows, where she recounted her story.
She claimed that she was born in a mental institution somewhere in
California, some time before supposed mother died in what she claims
was "foul play". Soon after being born, she narrates that she was
raised by her grandfather, "a complicated story", as she expressed, and
lived most of her early youth in rainforests. She stated that she
skipped school, because there were no schools close to the places she
nestled, but despite of that she managed to learn several languages.
The Argentinian audience became thrilled and intrigued by her revelations and amusingly extravagant personality, and became a household name, acquiring celebrity-like status and becoming present in the TV scene for most of the past decade as one of the most controversial characters that ever existed in screen.
Besides her background story, she also claims to be a clairvoyant, psychic and mentalist, which eventually landed her a spot to display in the infamous Spanish TV reality show El castillo de las mentes prodigiosas (2004), giving her outer exposure and shedding a fair amount of scrutiny for her peculiar antics and the feuds that she engaged in.
