Before undertaking a career in music, Anne Pashley was an Olympic medalist in track. She captured a Bronze Medal in the Women's 100 meters at the 1953 European Games; she followed that up with her taking a Silver Medal for England in the Women's 4 X 100 meter Relay at the 1956 Melbourne Olympiad.
