Biography

Anurita Jha is an Indian actress and model, hailing from Katihar, Bihar. She was groomed and completed her studies in Patna and Delhi. Anurita has showcased her talent in fashion weeks held in both Delhi and Mumbai.

She made her Bollywood acting debut with Anurag Kashyap's critically acclaimed film *Gangs of Wasseypur - Part 1* and reprise her role in its sequel, *Gangs of Wasseypur - Part 2*. Prior to her acting career, Anurita participated in the Ford Supermodel competition in 2005 and emerged as the winner of the "Channel V Get Gorgeous 2006" competition.
