Spencer Ralston, originally from Murfreesboro, Tennessee, moved to Los Angeles with a dream of becoming an actor.

After years of hard work and acting classes, he landed his first televised role on the iconic CBS hit series How I Met Your Mother as Marvin, the son of Marshall (Jason Segel) and Lily (Alyson Hannigan). This role marked an exciting milestone in his career, though Spencer's journey was far from easy.

Despite the early success, the following years proved to be a period of struggle. Undeterred, Spencer kept his craft alive by writing, producing, and starring in his own short films, which received recognition and praise at various short film festivals.
