Alex Russo (a.k.a. Alexandra Elinsky) was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. She started performing in her toddler years. Russo was cast in her first TV pilot called "Just Like A Family" in 2002. She has appeared in over 30 independent feature films. Besides acting, Russo's portfolio includes: screenwriting, producing and TV/print commercials. After obtaining a Ph.D. degree in Business Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, she became an International Empowerment Coach (as Dr. Alexandra Elinsky) and was awarded Top International Empowerment Coach of the Year 2024 by the IAOTP organization. Her book "Girl Grit: Savage not Average" focuses on empowering women of all ages globally.
