Anasuya Sengupta is an Indian actress and production designer who rose to international acclaim for her role in The Shameless (2024), winning the Performance Award in the Un Certain Regard section at Cannes. Born in Kolkata, she studied English Literature at Jadavpur University and debuted in Madly Bangali (2009). She has worked across theatre, design, and film. She has featured on the Harper's Bazaar Magazine cover as well as the Amul billboard following her Cannes win and also made her runway debut at Lakmé Fashion Week, walking for designer Sameer Madan.
