Jamie Zin is an Australian composer and filmmaker. His interest in film started at a young age, which drove him to make home movies and machinimas. After a few years of freelance voice acting and writing, he co-created two web series: Housemates (2012) and Between the Sheets.
Meanwhile, after meeting on a freelance job, he began collaborating with Tyler W. Moore. They worked on a few small projects together before Jamie became an associate producer, staff writer and actor on Moore's series Brimstone Terrace (2013). After working on this project, Jamie became a founding member of the multimedia studio Illumination Cinema. He still collaborates on many of the team's projects to this day, including the feature film adaptation of Brimstone Terrace.
After studying theater at Griffith University, Jamie also went on to direct several theater projects for various festivals and became a director for the School2Stage program.
Nowadays, Jamie primarily focuses on composing for films, having created music for a variety of projects. He also still directs the occasional short film, leaning mostly into the horror genre.
