- 1979 Ivan Tymchenko was born in Kyiv, Ukraine. He got education at the Faculty of Journalism of the Taras Shevchenko National University. He started his career as a political and sport photojournalist, and advertising photographer. 2009 he switched to filmmaking and worked as a DOP and later as a directing DOP.
