Hannah Michielsen is a dual Canadian and EU citizen director. Hannah directed on the CBS series Matlock. She has directed second unit scene work on shows such as Locke & Key, Revival, SurrealEstate and Northern Rescue while producing and directing several short films. Her film Ingredients won Best Short Film at the 2021 Directors Guild of Canada Awards, premiered at the Blood In The Snow Film Festival, won best narrative short at the Toronto Independent Women Film Festival, and has been recognized by several other festivals and awards. Cody in Kwarenteen a mockumentary comedy starring professional wrestler Cody Deaner, written and directed by Hannah, won Best Comedy at the ICP Ent Film Festival and aired on Impact Wrestling.
As an accomplished 1st Assistant Director her credits include; Disney/FX's What We Do In The Shadows, Netflix's Lock & Key, Self Made: Madam CJ Walker, Northern Rescue, CBS Pilot Matlock, Fox's Accused, SYFY's SurrealEstate, HBO's Run, and CTV's Cardinal, to name a few.
