Sam the Robot on ‘Big Brother’ 20 is captivating America: Hey Zingbot, are you jealous?
Julie Chen Moonves in Big Brother (2000)
There’s a new robot in town. During the first week of “Big Brother” Season 20 Virginia welder Sam Bledsoe received a punishment that forced her to live half of her time as a robot. When she’s in robot form the real-life Sam is secluded from the other players with a monitor and speakers so she can still see and hear what’s going on in the house. The twist has absolutely captivated America, with Sam being named the winner of the first “Power App” that gives her a Bonus Life in the game. Not even original “Big Brother” robot Zingbot earned this much love from fans. Hey @ZingbotOfficial, are you jealous?

‘Big Brother’ Season 20 Episode 3 Recap: Faysal Shafaat Trends, First Alliances Made
CBS’ Big Brother season 20 debuted earlier last week. On Thursday’s episode, Tyler Crispen nominated Sam Bledsoe and Steve Arienta for eviction for the sake of keeping things fair, since the two both fell during their first Head of Household (Hoh) competition. On Sunday’s episode, we see Steve wasn’t affected by Tyler’s nomination and wanted to prove to […]

Big Brother robot: Who is behind the screen?
Big Brother has had a lot of crazy things happen but a robot as a houseguest is definitely at the top of the list. Season 20 promised fans to expect the unexpected, and that is exactly what they got. The robot is actually Sam Bledsoe. She is the welder from Virginia. During the first competition, she ended up in last place, causing Big Brother to hand down a punishment. While the other houseguests waited for Sam to return to the house following the competition, they were discussing what they think the punishment might be. Kaycee Clark ended up last in […]

Julie Chen Moonves in Big Brother (2000)
Season 20 of “Big Brother” debuted this week on CBS and already two houseguests have proven to be challenge beasts: Chris “Swaggy C” Williams won the power to reboot the game and Tyler Crispen became the first House of Household. During tonight’s episode we learned more details on this summer’s “Bb App Store” twist that host Julie Chen has been teasing. Based on America’s votes, one houseguest received a coveted “Power App” while another was punished with the “Crap App.” So how’d it all play out?

Can’t wait till Sunday’s episode of “Big Brother 20″ to find out who won the first Power of Veto competition. Then keep reading as we’ve kept a keen eye on the #BB20 live feeds since they were turned on following Thursday’s episode and we know who claimed this game-changing power.

Six of the houseguests competed in an individual timed tasting competition for the PoV: the two up for elimination on July 5 (Steve Arienta and Sam Bledsoe); the Head of Household Tyler Crispen; the “winner” of the Crap App Faysal Shafaat; as well as Scottie Salton and Chris “Swaggy C” Williams.

‘Big Brother 20’: Who won the first Power App on #BB20 and what does it mean for July 5 eviction?
If you don’t want to wait till Sunday’s episode of “Big Brother 20″ to find out who won the first reward from the Bb App Store, then keep reading. We’ve been watching the #BB20 live feeds since they were turned on following Thursday’s episode and have discovered who has this game-changing power in their possession.

Turns out America has fallen in love with Sam Bledsoe, who lost the first Head of Household challenge and was then punished by being turned into a robot at random times. Her intermittent absences from the house meant that Tyler Crispen, who won HoH, did not feel any loyalty to her. He named this winsome welder one of the two houseguests up for eviction on the July 5 live episode (the other is undercover cop Steve Arienta).

‘Big Brother 20’: Who got the first Power and Crap Apps?
Julie Chen Moonves in Big Brother (2000)
The results of the first Bb App Store twist will be unveiled on Sunday’s episode of “Big Brother 20,” but the reward and punishment have already been handed out inside the house. And thanks to the live feeds, which started after Thursday’s episode, we already know the recipients of the fan-voted twists.

Faysal, who received the fewest number of votes, got the first Crap App punishment and now has to eat vegetarian ham whenever he gets a Hamazon Delivery. This result is hardly surprising — Fayshal has a very low-key personality and barely registered in the premiere episodes. Then you see his bicep and you’re like, “Oh, right, he’s the muscle guy.” Luckily, this is the worst thing that can happen to him this week since Swaggy C saved his group on the first night.

Tyler Crispen
‘Big Brother’: Do you want Steve Arienta or Sam Bledsoe to be first eviction from #BB20? [Poll]
Tyler Crispen
Tyler Crispen has claimed the title of the first Head of Household on season 20 of “Big Brother.” While this 23-year-old lifeguard readily admits to being ambitious, his plan had been to hold back until he was sure of his place in the house. Indeed, in his pre-interview, he had revealed that his strategy for success on #BB20 was to divide the house in two, and then befriend someone on the opposing team who he’d keep with him till the final 4.

That all changed when he found himself among the first eight players vulnerable to being targeted for eviction. He overcame the challenge of the “Bb Circuit Board” and his athleticism saw him being both the last player standing and the first HoH.

Tyler was receptive to Winston Hines‘s idea of forming an alliance with Angela Rummans ,Brett Robinson, Kaycee Clark and Rachel Swindler. This athletic team of six...

‘Big Brother’ 20 episode 2 recap: Who won first Hoh challenge and did Sam Bledsoe compete as a robot? [Updating Live Blog]
Julie Chen Moonves in Big Brother (2000)
Season 20 of “Big Brother” debuted Wednesday night on CBS, with Chris “Swaggy C” Williams winning the challenge that allowed him to reboot the game. He earned the power to save eight people from eviction, thereby putting the other eight houseguests in danger of being the first person voted out of “BB20.” As the losers of the challenge, Kaycee Clark had to wear a “Pinwheel of Doom” unitard while Sam Bledsoe transformed into a robot. Was Sam able to perform Thursday’s inaugural Head of Household competition as a human, or was she forced to compete as a robot?

Big Brother Season 20 Premiere: Which Player Is Already Drunk With Power?
Steve Arienta and Sam Bledsoe in Big Brother (2000)
Shrieks, lies and “bro!”s abounded Wednesday as 16 new Houseguests entered the Big Brother house to kick off Season 20.

Like all good seasons of Big Brother, the lying began immediately. Steve Arienta, for example, decided it was best to conceal his past as an undercover narcotics detective for the NYPD, opting instead to masquerade as a mild-mannered mechanic and family man. (To be fair, that last part is actually true. And the dude loves bubble baths.)

For the most part, though, the season’s initial deceptions revolved around Houseguests concealing their intelligence behind their hotness, or vice versa. Cybersecurity engineer Brett Robinson,...

‘Big Brother’ 20 premiere spoilers: #BB20 first Head of Household, nominees for eviction on July 5
Julie Chen Moonves in Big Brother (2000)
Although the first episode of “Big Brother” 20 doesn’t air till June 27, we already know who is ruling as the first Head of Household and which two of the other houseguests has been tapped to be put up for eviction. Despite rumors to the contrary, no other houseguests, be they alumni of the show or brand-new to the franchise, have joined the 16 already in the house. And we can confirm that no one has exited either by way of eviction or otherwise.

The first few episode of #BB20 are taped, including the two-hour premiere on Wednesday and the hour-long follow-up episodes on Thursday (June 28) at the usual 9:00 p.m. time and Sunday (July 1) in its summer-long slot of 8:00 p.m. That Sunday show will conclude with a big reveal: the first Head of Household and the two Houseguests who have been nominated for eviction.
