Tricia Alexandro was born and raised in Queens, NY, along with her four siblings. Her parents were both school teachers--her dad taught third grade in a public school in Bushwick Brooklyn for thirty years and her mom taught sex ed and religion in Catholic high schools in Flatbush, Brooklyn and Queens, NY. Tricia began acting at the age of 11 in community theater alongside her four siblings, and continued acting in musical theater through high school (St. Francis Prep) and college (Binghamton University). After college, Tricia moved to LA where she studied the Meisner Technique at Playhouse West. She returned to NYC and studied acting with Seth Barrish and Lee Brock at The Barrow Group School. She still considers The Barrow Group School and Theater to be her artistic home. Tricia studied on-camera acting with Bob Krakower and attended Manhattan Film Institute, under his tutelage. She is a member of the Labyrinth Theater Company Intensive (led by Stephen Adly Guirgis). Tricia has performed a number of one woman shows, including one she wrote called Snapshots (directed by Seth Barrish, music by Peter Eldridge) and Lily Tomlin's The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe at Cape May Stage. The NY Times said of her performance in John Yearley's The Unrepeatable Moment ("bravely acted...a high point of the show"). Tricia played 14 characters in the play We, the Invisibles, written by Susan Soon He Stanton (Succession) at Humana Festival (Actors Theatre of Louisville), and was cited as "a standout" in the play The Seven Deadly Sins, in a piece written and directed by Moisés Kaufman. Tricia recently guest starred on Law & Order: SVU, and Bull (directed in both episodes by Mike Smith). She has a recurring role on Season 2 of Ed Burns's TV show Bridge and Tunnel on Epix (soon to be released).
