Jeremy Long is a writer and stand up comedian living and working in Los Angeles, California. Jeremy was born in Pennsylvania and graduated from Palmyra Area High School in 2010, at which point he furthered his education at Penn State University for Film. While in college learning the mechanics and theory of the film industry, Jeremy was actively pursuing creative opportunities. Jeremy wrote several short and feature films during his time in college, as well as acting in short films and major motion pictures alike. After beginning his stand up career in high school, Jeremy continued performing stand up comedy while in college, traveling all throughout the east coast. In 2010, while in college, Jeremy co-founded the independent production company Winston Simmons Productions, which is still active to this day. In 2014, Jeremy released his very first feature film under his production company, Winston Simmons Productions, titled Tenacity and Gratitude: The Frank Cotolo Story (2014) which is a documentary directed, produced, written and edited by Jeremy Long about his friend and comedic mentor Frank Cotolo who is a renowned entertainer and has written for all the great comics of the last few decades, as well as being Wolfman Jack's longtime writer and radio partner.

After graduating from Pennsylvania State University, Jeremy moved to Los Angeles, California to further his career in film. Throughout his career, Jeremy has acted in theater, stage plays and film & television He has performed comedy on both coasts, performing everywhere from NYC to Los Angeles. In addition to stand-up comedy, Jeremy is also a former member of the highly sought after improv troupe High Fructose Improv, formed in 2011. In the acting world, Jeremy has been featured in episodes of classic television shows such as Do No Harm (2013), NCIS (2003), Mom (2013), and The Goldbergs (2013), as well as new hit shows such as The Muppets (2015), Code Black (2015), and Supergirl (2015), among others. He has also been featured in films such as Jack Reacher (2012) and Me and Earl and the Dying Girl (2015). After this, however, Jeremy has publicly announced he is focusing less on acting and more on writing.

After moving to Los Angeles, Jeremy started working for the television series The Carbonaro Effect (2014) on TruTv. After leaving The Carbonaro Effect (2014), Jeremy decided to shift with the technological times and began working for Here Be Dragons, a virtual reality studio. In 2017, Jeremy formed a new production company named Long Dick Films with friend and creative partner Meg Dick, daughter of actor Andy Dick. Under the new company Long Dick Films, Jeremy wrote, produced and directed many short films, perhaps most notably Tied to the Past (2017) and Retired Cupid (2018) the latter of which won the Award of Excellence at the Global Shorts Film Festival.

In 2017, the feature film Jeremy wrote, Clickbait (2018), went into production. Having completed filming later that year, it is scheduled to hit the festivals in fall of 2018. Jeremy continues to perform stand up, sketch and improv comedy to audiences everywhere and recorded his very first stand up comedy special in front of a live audience in April of 2018, which is scheduled to be released later this year. Jeremy is also currently in pre-production of a television series titled The Return of Turk Berain (2019), which he co-wrote with writing partner Frank Cotolo and is based on Cotolo's book of the same name. Jeremy is continuing to work on several short films under both production companies slated for release throughout 2018. Jeremy is currently in pre-production for his third feature film he wrote, The Unfortunate Monsters, an apocalyptic drama film currently in the early stages of production with no tentative release date yet.
