A highlight of the first weekend of the 80th Venice International Film Festival was seeing Giorgio Armani appear on the catwalk, visibly excited, moved, smiling and proudly satisfied with his work. He then advanced graceful and happy, in his impeccable blue tuxedo holding hands with the model Agnese Zogla.

The moment was experienced by the more than 500 guests at Armani’s One Night Only event, where the world of cinema flocked to pay homage to King Giorgio, with guests including Sophia Loren, who has always been his beloved friend, accompanied by her son Edoardo Ponti, actor Benicio Del Toro, actress Jessica Chastain, and directors Ang Lee, Gabriele Salvatores and Giuseppe Tornatore.

The standing ovation lasted several minutes from an audience composed of numerous couples from the Italian film star system: from Sergio Castellitto and Margaret Mazzantini and Pierfrancesco Favino and Anna Ferzetti to Raul Bova and Rocio Munoz Morales to Kasia Smutniak and Domenico Procacci.

The Fences actress showed off a new look on Sunday's Oscars red carpet, wearing a gorgeous Armani Prive gown and debuting fierce new bangs!

Speaking with Et's Nancy O'Dell and Kevin Frazier before the ceremony, Davis revealed the sweet sendoff she received from 5-year-old daughter Genesis earlier that day.

"She said, 'Mama, be calm. Mommy, I love you,' and that was it," Davis said, with her husband, Julius Tennon, chiming in to add, "When she saw her mom in that red dress, she was speechless."

Davis sweetly added that her mother was also on hand as she got ready.

While white dresses made a major mark on the red carpet last year, Alicia Vikander made sure everyone knew she was a fashion force to be reckoned with when she turned up at last year's awards show in a custom-made strapless Louis Vuitton number that made her look like a real-life princess -- Belle, specifically -- even she saw the uncanny resemblance.

"That was my thought!" she told Et on the red carpet, after being told she was inspiring comparisons already.

Not that she was upset about it... "I think if you would've asked 5-year-old Alicia what her biggest dream was...

Rihanna might not have won any GRAMMYs, but she won the GRAMMYs.

Whether it was an honor just to be nominated -- RiRi scored eight nominations including Record of the Year -- Rihanna seemed to, in true Rihanna fashion, give absolutely no f**ks. And it certainly wasn't going to stop her from having a good time, as she spent most of the show drinking from a bejeweled flask.

Pop star Iggy Azalea has asked fashion designer gIORGIO aRMANI to create her wedding dress.

The Fancy star, who became engaged to basketball star Nick Young last year, has pushed back her big day because of upcoming tour and recording commitments, but the nuptials are still on, despite a recent cheating scandal surrounding the Los Angeles Lakers sportsman.

"Giorgio Armani is gonna make my dress,” Iggy told news show Extra. “I asked and I didn't know if he would because he really hasn't made a lot of celebrity wedding gowns... I'm just a fan of classic tailoring and I wanted my wedding dress to be timeless, so I don't look ridiculous in 25 years when I'm showing my kids, like, 'Here's what mommy wore'."

Nicole Kidman exuded Hollywood glamour as she arrived at the premiere of Grace of Monaco last night (May 14) to open the 67th Cannes Film Festival.

The 46-year-old actress, who kicked off proceedings with a photocall for the royal biopic yesterday, sparkled in a blue beaded Armani Prive gown with sweetheart neckline and crystal studded bodice as she graced the red carpet.

Kidman was joined at the extravagant opening by co-stars Tim Roth, who plays on-screen husband Prince Rainier III, and Paz Vega, who looked elegant in a sheer white dress with floral embellishments. Director Olivier Dahan was also in attendance.

The winners gathered for photographers backstage in front of a plain white-backdrop following the 86th annual ceremony.

Jay Manuel is best known for being the photo shoot director on America’s Next Top Model‘s first 18 seasons. Since he knows everyone in Hollywood, he had quite a bit to say about the fashion and beauty from the biggest award show of the year — Oscars night.

“There were so many great dresses,” Jay exclusively told HollywoodLife.com at the launch party of the new Lane Bryant flagship store on 34th street. But of course, he had a few favorites, including Naomi Watts.
