- In 1991 he won the 'Guitarist of the Year' competition run by Guitarist Magazine, with his instrumental "Sundance".
Subsequently wrote over two hundred articles, transcriptions and lessons for Guitar Techniques Magazine, and also filmed a variety of instructional DVDs for Licklibrary and a global satellite TV series called "Killer Guitar". - Toured as lead guitarist/vocalist with Roger Waters on his "The Dark Side of the Moon Live" tour (2006 - 2008), and the follow up "The Wall Live" tour (2010-13)... which was the highest grossing tour by a solo artist ever.
- Has played with a several well known artists, such as Keith Emerson, Guthrie Govan, John Wetton, Geoff Downes, Thomas Lang, Nick Mason, Ken Hensley, Murray Hockridge, John Young, Carl Palmer, David Gilmour, Nick Beggs, Toyah Wilcox, among others.
