Over a decade on from when Top Boy: Summerhouse’s Dushane (Ashley Walters) and Sully’s (Kane Robinson) story first started in 2011 on Channel 4, Top Boy is back on the Summerhouse Estate for its fifth and final season.

The action-packed show has reached new heights since being rebooted on Netflix with the help of Canadian rapper Drake, and a loyal fanbase that didn’t falter during its six-year break. It’s taken full advantage of the larger budget which has seen the show place storylines in locations including Spain and Morocco. Top Boy, the gritty inner city drama starring Ashley Walters and Kane Robinson, returns to Netflix, revived by Drake and reuniting the team including writer and creator Ronan Bennett, Charles Steel and Alasdair Flind and Yann Demange. The series features newcomer Micheal Ward as ‘Jamie and musical artists Simbi Ajikawo ‘Little Simz’, David Omoregie ‘Dave’. Shone Romulus returns as ‘Dris’ and Ashley Thomas returns as ‘Jermaine’. British drama “Top Boy” is returning to television, with Netflix and executive producer Drake spearheading a 10-episode revival from creator Ronan Bennett.

On Tuesday, Netflix debuted a trailer announcing the cast for the third season of the show that originally premiered in 2011 and lasted two seasons on U.K. television. Ashley Walters and Kane Robinson are reprising their roles as Dushane and Sully, and they’ll be joined by newcomer Michael Ward.

The series also features musical artists Simbi Ajikawo, David Omoregie, Shone Romulus returning as Dris and Ashley Thomas returning as Jermaine. Other new cast members include Lisa Dwan, Jasmine Jobson, Kadeem Ramsay, Saffron Hocking, Kola Bokinni and Hope Ikpoku.

Drake took a moment out from performing at a London show on his Assassination Vacation tour Monday night to give fans a first look at a teaser trailer for “Top Boy,” the upcoming Netflix series he is producing.
