Carissa McPherson

Carissa McPherson is a Melbourne-based actor & voice artist. She studied acting under Master teachers Mike Alfreds, Larry Moss, Patsy Rodenburg, Iain Sinclair, & Richard Sarell. Screen highlights include Neighbours, Nowhere Boys (ABC), Paper Giants Magazine Wars (ABC), & Conspiracy 365 (Foxtel FMC). She was recently nominated Best Supporting Actress at LA Film Festival for Janette in 'A Piece of Us' (Dir. Justin Grant) and featured in multi-award-winning short 'Tommy' (Dir. Scott Dale). In theatre, Carissa received outstanding reviews for lead roles as Teresa in The Memory of Water by Shelagh Stephenson and Olivia in Sex With Strangers by Laura Eason. She has performed on-stage the works of many Australian and international playwrights/writers, including Albee, Pinter, Stephenson, Eason, Chekov, Ibsen, McLure, Rebeck and more.
