Ian is an Irish Director and Cinematographer, a pivotal point in his development was while studying Cinematography at the Polish National Film School back in 2005. Since then he has been pushing his craft, developing his unique style, and freeing words from the page revealing new worlds and the truth of a story.
Drawn to long-form narrative projects, Ian and has recently completed his sixth feature film, equally, he relishes the possibilities commercial assignments offer and has developed a name as a daring cinematographer and unique director.
Maintaining a constant eye on the industry at large Ian uses his respected perspectives to help reward fellow cinematographers; donating his time as a senior panel judge on the Irish Film and Television Awards (IFTA), Cinematography chapter.
With a career spanning over 18 years, Ian has a project portfolio from over 50 countries.
