Today’s film is the 2012 short One in a Million. The film is written by Penny Penniston and directed by Scott Smith, and it stars Matt Holzfeind, Brett Schneider, and Carrie Coon. Following guest roles in The Playboy Club and Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, Coon garnered acclaim for her role as Nora Durst in HBO’s The Leftovers. Her newest feature, titled Gone Girl, which also marks her feature film debut, opened in wide release in American theatres this weekend.
