Biography

Ciera Angelia is an American actress, writer and producer from Detroit, Michigan. She graduated from the University of Illinois with dual degrees; Bachelors of Art with a focus in performance art, and a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. She began her Hollywood career as a guest on FOX's 'Empire', before making her breakthrough leading role on BET's 'Sisters'. As a creator, Ciera wrote, executive produced, and starred in both 'Pay Up Hollywood' the series, and 'Sarahnormal'. She is the executive producer of '3 Sides' and 'Captive', and has now branched off into acting/producing for other networks such as Peacock, Tubi, and BET. She is the HAPA best actress nominee 2021, and the winner of C2TV Hollywood award "Break Through Actress of the Year" in 2023 and CTV best actress 2025.
