Russ Ferri was born in Laguna Beach, California, to Michele (Derby), a devoted mother & writer, and Robert Ferri, an elementary school teacher. He is of Italian (father) and Spanish (mother) descent. He started performing when he was in the third grade. Then, he began being cast in small theater productions all the way through college (University of California, Santa Barbara). After graduating in the year 2010, he moved to Los Angeles, California, where he now resides.
