Chozy Aiyub is a Palestinian-American actor, writer, and producer based in Atlanta, Georgia. He gained recognition for his roles in films such as The Colonizer (2024) and Conflict (2022). Aiyub's exceptional performance in Conflict earned him the Telly Award for Outstanding Drama Film and the Best Actor award at the Gold Movie Awards (2022), along with a Best Lead Actor nomination at the Utah Film Awards (2023).
Born to a Palestinian family, Aiyub's early life was heavily influenced by the arts. His father was a musician and performing artist, while his mother transitioned from being a midwife to a stay-at-home mom. He attended College de Frere High School in East Jerusalem, graduating in 1998 before moving to the United States. He went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a Master's degree in Graphic Communication Management and Technology from Georgia Southern University.
Inspired by his father's artistic endeavors, Aiyub began exploring the performing arts, theater, and music from a young age. At 13, he received his first video camera, which ignited his passion for filmmaking. Over the years, he has produced several short films, including Conflict, Being X in America, Ganja Hummus, This is Awkward, and Airbnboom. He also produced a web series titled Cobra's World on YouTube.
