Samuel Krebs

For over a decade, Samuel Krebs has logged thousands of hours as a freelance cinematographer, camera assistant, editor and producer on various film and television productions. In the same course of time, he wrote, produced, and directed two feature films.

The son of a writer and a photographer, Samuel was born into a legacy of storytelling; his innate sense of observation and keen understanding of the working elements developed him as a natural visual artist. His approach to filmmaking is grounded not only in the technical mastery he continues to hone, but also the craft of relative, resonant screenwriting. His background in the Brooklyn DIY music scene along with his experience operating within the team dynamics of a film set solidifies his stance as an artistic collaborator, first and foremost.

Samuel is a fan of metal, hip-hop, Indian food, and science fiction novels. He lives in Manhattan with his wife Katie and two cats.
