Juan is a Colombian actor, born in Bogotá, he started his artistic career at a very young age in the most prestigious musical theatre company in Colombia, Misi Producciones and has been part of this musical theatre company for the past 22 years ago. He has played several characters in musicals like: Jafar in Aladdín, Rooster Hannigan in Annie, Bryan in Avenue Q. In 2012 he performed in Broadway at the Lincoln Center in New York City with the first Colombian musical called: The Most Amazing Story Ever Sung.
He has combined his career in musical theatre with his career as an actor into several TV series and movies through out the years. His first experience on TV was with a small role in the soap opera Los Victorinos. He has played several characters in tv series like La Pola, A Mano Limpia, La Playita, Secretos Del Paraíso, La Ley Del Corazón. In 2016 he played Alias Peter in La Niña one of the most viewed tv series in Colombia. He was part of the cast of Besieged as Caita, a series for Fox Latinamerica in 2017.
He has been in several short films including El Call which was part of the Short Film Corner at the Cannes Film Festival in 2013, in 2018 he had a role in Loving Pablo starring by Javier Bardem and Penélope Cruz.
