Edward was born in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia.

Edward is an Australian performer living in New York City.

Edward has worked professionally in Australia and in the US in both stage, film and television. His theatre credits include Assassins (Zangara), Les Miserables (Grantaire), World Goes Round, Into the Woods (Jack) and the Australian premier of The White Rose (Willie). Edward was fortunate to work for the internationally acclaimed children's group The Wiggles playing the role of Captain Feathersword.

In film and television Edward appeared in the HBO series The Pacific produced by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks. He can also be seen in a number of national commercials and industrials in Australia.
