Portsmouth, Virginia, Darold was raised in the "Daffodil Capital of the
World" of Gloucester, Virginia; a historic, colonial, beach-front
peninsula in Virginia's York River (Tidewater region), just north of
the Williamsburg-Jamestown-Yorktown peninsula (aka "America's Historic
Triangle"). An artist, writer, producer, filmmaker & musician, this
serial entrepreneur has also worked in politics, media, technology and
academia as well.
