Salloom Haddad

Salloom Haddad is a veteran Syrian actor with over forty years in theatre and TV. Known for character roles in historical dramas. Salloom graduated from Damascus' Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts (1975). His 45-year career spans 120+ TV series (historical epics like Al-Ababeed) and 30+ plays, earning him Syria's Best Character Actor Award (2009). He taught acting at his alma mater (1990-2010). Post-retirement, he curates rare 19th-century Arabic plays. He survived a 2012 bombing during filming.
