Douglas E. Cowell is a actor, director, puppeteer and writer from the Boston area. He has several local shows under his belt as both a director, show runner, writer and puppeteer. The founder and creator of Dogtoon Media a small web and TV production company he has created many characters and puppets.
Born in Reading Ma to Douglas R. and Margaret Cowell, he has one sibling as of 2016 Douglas lives and works in the Boston area. Trained in improv and puppetry as well as acting and film making Douglas have developed several shows for both kids and adults. His web series turned TV series "Marisa and Rocco" follows a girl and her robot, while a local Horror Show series "Matinee of Madness" our of Salem Ma showcases old scary movies from yesteryear with new family friendly skits of actors and puppets.
Working with renowned casting agency Boston Casting, Douglas also worked as a teacher and casting director.
