Steven "Destiny" Bonnell is an American Starcraft 2 Zerg player and a well known and popular streamer. He went to university for 3 years to major in music (woodwind performance) but eventually dropped out due to conflicts with his work which he dropped eventually at 2011 to become a progamer.

Having played since the beta, Destiny is known within the Starcraft II community for his bad manners and rage. Some of his youtube videos with his best bits, like "retard magnet" and "baneling rape analogy" have more than half of million views and his streampage has been viewed more than 27 million times. He has a son with his ex-girlfriend Rachel named Nathan.

His first notable tournament success was winning the $100 prize for last man standing in the FXOpen KOTH NA #2, taking out sixjax's ViBE in a ZvZ.

Steven first progaming team was ROOT Gaming. Steven said that he liked the idea of joining this team particularly since he was practicing with Chad "Minigun" Jones who was a part of that team. In there he became good friends with Paulo "CatZ" Vizcarra. On June 12th 2011 Root Gaming was acquired by Complexity Gaming and Destiny joined compLexity. Ten days later Complexity Gaming released Destiny citing refusal to honor his contract. In a forum post Destiny clarified that he had qualms with the contract before signing it, but was worried the acquisition deal would fall through had he not signed it.

Destiny qualified for IGN ProLeague Season 2 through its first Qualifier. In the main tournament he was knocked to the losers bracket by Socke in the first round, where he was eliminated by Axslav.

Steven developed a unique style of play heavily based on Infestors usage, plus his "Four-festor-hit-squad" began used a lot by zergs around the world as a proven tactic. Destiny was invited to compete in the group stages of the GeForce Pro/Am tournament. There, he defeated Korean players Bomber 2-1 and Ace 2-0, but lost to SjoW, ThisIsJimmy, and ViBe. This meant that Destiny would not compete in the playoffs. Sometime later he purchased a korean Starcraft 2 account, and went on korean ladder and got really famous among the Korean players due to his play. He took out many names and did several showmatches with Korean progamers.

MLG Pro Circuit 2011 Destiny's first major tournament was MLG Dallas 2011 where he made it to round 3 of the open bracket before getting knocked to the losers bracket 2-1 by ReSpOnSe. There he was defeated 2-0 by Axslav.

Destiny competed in the open bracket of MLG Columbus 2011 where he was defeated by Darkcell in the first round, but made a decent run through the losers bracket before being eliminated 2-1 by Slurgi in round 6.

Destiny participated in MLG Anaheim 2011. He was knocked down to the losers bracket early on, where he notably defeated TT1 before being eliminated in round 4 by a Terran player named Edge.

Destiny did not go to MLG Raleigh 2011, for many reasons, but a large part of his decision was because he felt unprepared for the event.

On September 2011 Steven Bonnell II and Shawn "Sheth" Simon made a charity 24-hour streaming marathon for organisation called "Doctors Without Borders" and got more than 22 thousand dollars with donations from viewers (about 20 thousand viewers).
