Riley Voelkel
Here’s a sight for sore eyes: Riley Voelkel (aka Hope’s Aunt Freya) is making her debut on Legacies this month, and TVLine has an exclusive first look at her grand arrival.

So, what brings Freya into the fold? The specifics remain a mystery, but according to the official synopsis for the Nov. 21 episode (The CW, 9/8c), she “receives an unexpected visit from one of the Salvatore Students.” So even though it may look like she’s standing solo in Rousseau’s, she’s actually chatting with… someone.

Jc Caylen To Co-Star In Crackle Original Feature ‘Party Boat’
Crackle, Sony's ad-supported video streaming platform, has announced its next original feature -- a raucous comedy called Party Boat. In addition to SNL and Jerry Maguire actor Jay Mohr, the film also touts some digital star wattage from noted vlogger Jc Caylen.

Also appearing in Party Boat are Brett Davern (Crackle’s Chosen), Beau Mirchoff (MTV’s Awkward), Sung Kang (Fast And Furious 6), Demetrius Bridges (The Vampire Diaries), and Katie LeClerc, who most recently headlined Awesomeness’ first original Awestruck series, Confess. In the film, Davern plays an irresponsible party animal named Max who is on a mission to throw a wild birthday party for his best friend and longtime crush (Leclerc), whose boyfriend -- unbeknownst to Max -- is planning a proposal.

Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley, and Nina Dobrev in Vampire Diaries (2009)
Something wicked this way comes — or, rather, someone wicked.

UnREAL alumna Nathalie Kelley is joining The Vampire Diaries for Season 8 — its final season — in the heavily recurring role of Sybil, aka “evil herself.”

VideosVampire Diaries Video: Stars Reveal Their Favorite ‘Ships, Tease Elena’s Final-Season Return and More

But come on — can the character really be that bad? Apparently so. The casting breakdown for the dastardly immortal describes her as a power monger who manipulates her victims “into twisted games and tests for her own amusement and glorification.”

Underneath, however, Sybil is just like all of us: She only wants to be loved.

Did Containment's Series Finale Satisfy or Leave You Stranded?
George Young in Alerte contagion (2016)
For an episode that wasn't intended to be a series finale, the final episode of The CW's "limited event series" Containment was actually a very satisfying way to go out. Here's how we left everyone in the closing moments of the series: Our little group of refugees had gotten about halfway through the tunnels on their way to escape the cordon when the government started blowing said tunnels up. Teresa (Hanna Mangan Lawrence) and Xander (Demetrius Bridges) realized that it was smarter for them to head back, so they did. They got to Teresa's mom's store, only to find their worst fears realized: Teresa's mom was dead. But they decided to stay and build their family there—plus, Xander...

Heads up, vampire enthusiasts: The following article requires you to do a little bit of math. (I know, I’m sorry.)

VideosThe Originals‘ Phoebe Tonkin Ponders Hayley’s Season 4 Journey, Guesses Hope’s First Word

While fans of The Originals are justifiably disappointed that they’ll have to wait until early 2017 for their fix of Mikaelson madness, The CW’s decision to delay Season 4 actually worked in the show’s favor — at least as far as its timeline is concerned.

“When they shifted the air date, it actually gave us the freedom, weirdly, to shift the timeline in our...
