George O. Heath(1906-1994)

George Oscar Heath was born in 1906 in Chelsea, I.T. in what is now Rogers County Oklahoma. He knew growing up actor Ben Johnson from nearby Osage County and Will Rogers and the Rogers/McSpadden Clan. Rode the rail like many Okies during the depression from Oklahoma. Returning home to work the Oil Field until retirement from the Texas Company(Texaco) in 1971. One year later local Ardmore Little Theatre Director Lil Williams was tasked by Director John Milius to find local actors for his movie Dillinger. In discussion with Ben Johnson he asked about George who he knew lived here and saw regularly during rodeo competitions. He told Mrs. Williams he would make the perfect John Dillinger, Sr.
