Biography

Mirela Payret is a Spanish actress, singer, dancer, acrobat, presenter and model. She was born in Barcelona, Catalunya, Spain. And she grew up in the marginal neighborhood of Bellvitge monoblocks (in L'Hosiptalet del LLobregat), which at that time and throughout her adolescence was a suburb. She speaks fluent Catalan, Spanish, English and French. Before deciding to start her career as a professional actress, she worked sporadically as a dancer, model and presenter but later and for many years worked as a commercial of chemical products, ascending in her position as Manager and Director of a great sales team in Spain, for a London Multinational.

Over time and without leaving her job, so well positioned, she was devoting more and more hours to develop and train as an actress, dancer and singer. Thanks to that she realized that this ancient work was no longer her purpose in life. And despite family mandates (which were humble people) and in the midst of the Spanish crisis, she risked to change of profession and life, leaving a fixed contract, with a great salary and a great position as a woman at her young age, to devote her life to interpretation, music and art in all the ways that allow you to express, move others, thrill, cheer up and tell stories.

She dared to jump, leave stability and security behind and make this opposite change of course without having any guarantees that this would lead her to make a professional career as an actress and singer, or without knowing if she could make a living as an artist.

Since 2012 she lives in Argentina. And she works as an actress, singer-songwriter for Latin America and Spain interchangeably.
