Biography

    • Kathryn is an Australian actor, voice artist and dramaturg for film and TV. She has several exciting credits to her name; the most recently being 'RUNT' (dir. John Sheedy) and also 'Kid Snow' (dir. Paul Goldman), where she was also dramaturg and acting coach to Jack LaTorre and his sister Lily LaTorre. Her other credits include playing resident Ambulance Officer, Charlie in "Home and Away"; "Little Monsters" (dir. Abe Forsythe); Psychologist Katie in "The 5th Shadow" (dir. David Sparks).

Kathryn has also assisted young actors Lily LaTorre, Jack LaTorre, Noah Wiseman on or in the lead-up to productions such as 'RUNT', 'Kid Snow', "Run, Rabbit, Run" (dir. Daina Reid), "Days of Abandonment" (dir. Maggie Betts), "The Babadook" (dir. Jennifer Kent), "The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart" (dir. Glendyn Ivin), "Pieces of Her" (dir. Minkie Spiro), among others. Such high-profile productions have afforded her a great relationship with casting directors, directors, producers and fellow artists across the country and internationally.

Kathryn has an excellent Standard American and English accent, and often receives work as a voice artist.

After years singing in bars and coaching young actors, Kathryn went on a 15 month cultural and environmental adventure through Central and South America, Europe, Nepal, India and parts of South-East Asia, living with local families, learning Spanish and summiting the Alps on three continents.

She has since returned to what she loves: spending time with her kids; her extended family; her dog and chickens, singing; and spending time outdoors and at the beach.
