Adam R. Wood is a British-born Emmy Award-winning director and editor living in Los Angeles.

Wood began his entertainment career in London as a videographer and editor for well-known British musical artists Jay Sean, Craig David, Chicane, and many more while working for acclaimed independent U.K. management and record label 2Point9 Records and Jayded. Subsequently, he moved into directing and editing music videos for artists such as Pharrell, Tyga, Michael Jackson, Skrillex, Bazzi, Kiana Lede. And Jay Sean & Lil Wayne for their hit single "Down," which was a U.S. Billboard #1 in 2009.

Alongside his colleagues at 2Point9 and Absolute Marketing, Adam was jointly nominated for MusicWeek's 2010 Independent Breakthrough of the Year award.

Wood moved to Los Angeles in 2010 and joined the acclaimed editorial house Cut & Run and Stitch to work on campaigns for Audi, Hyundai, Scion, Playstation, New Era, Titleist, Yamaha, Bombardier, and many more. Wood also did broadcast work for Fox Sports on "My Beautiful Game" with thrilling moments from international soccer featuring David Beckham. During this time, he was also able to pursue his passion for documentary by collaborating on "Re:Generation Music Project," directed by Amir Bar-Lev. This film led to his work on a series of documentaries such as: "Moments of Truth" directed by James Bryce, and "JFK - An Idea Lives On," "First Love: Mario Andretti" and the multi-award winning "Clouds Over Cuba" all directed by Ben Tricklebank.

Scooping an Emmy at the News & Documentary Awards, "Clouds Over Cuba" went on to collect: eleven (11) Cannes Lions; D&AD Yellow pencil; five (5) One Show pencils; ADC gold and bronze cubes; Gold at the ANDYs and Clios; two (2) Webbys; and, the AICP Next award, making it the most awarded digital campaign in the U.S. for 2013.

Wood also has a keen interest in comedy, and short film and, among other things, completed the 20th Century Fox/ATV feature "Janoskians - Untold and Untrue" in 2015 and regular online comedy shorts for the online prank sensations. The dramatic short "Pepper," the story of an unlikely friendship between a young boy searching for his missing older brother with the help of an aging female impersonator, was part of the Official Selection at Frameline Film Festival and Art of Brooklyn. Wood also worked on "Fate," starring Amaury Nolasco and Robert Knepper (T.V.'s Prison Break), a story about a diamond heist and subsequent chase across the frozen roads of Finland to the sun-drenched beaches of California.

Wood has recently finished work directing and editing his latest feature documentary, "Heval," the gripping real-life story of British-born actor Michael Enright, who abandoned his Hollywood career to volunteer for the fight against ISIS in Syria. In partnership with Jupiter Entertainment and Sky Studios, "Heval" is executive produced by Patrick Reardon, Harrison Land, and Dave Madison; Curiosity Stream executive producer and Head of Original Content, Rob Burk; and producers Craig Rosebraugh, Matthew Einstein, and Adam R. Wood.
