Brett Maline is an award-winning disabled actor, writer, and director. From small town Nebraska, he's niche because he lives with a rare type of scoliosis and drives a crappy PT Cruiser.
In a first draft feature engagement with Running Point Productions and his disability in TV&Film podcast set up with Good Get Productions, Brett's short film Wrong Guy was an official selection to Slamdance 2025. Performing at the 2024 CBS Paramount Showcase, he was also selected to the 2023 Inevitable Foundation Elevate Collective Cohort to develop his original TV and film scripts. Brett also wrote on the 2nd season of Marvel's Loki, while developing his half hour comedy with Sony Pictures Television. Brett is very excited to be making his foreign film directorial debut this year with MAI, a film shot in Tokyo.
With appearances on CBS, NBC, FOX, Amazon Prime, and Disney, Brett is a former cast member of the Groundlings Sunday Company and a UCB house sketch team veteran. He continues to write, direct, and produce videos for his YouTube channel Genuine Jerks that has been featured on the Today Show, Good Morning America, and Vulture.
