    • Jose Nateras is an L.A. based Actor/Writer/Filmmaker from Chicago. He's appeared on NBC's 'Chicago Fire' and 'Chicago P.D.', Fox's 'Proven Innocent', 'The Chi' on Showtime, ABC's 'Promised Land', and elsewhere. Jose is a graduate of Loyola University Chicago, has his MFA in Writing from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC), and is also a freelance journalist, a published novelist, and an accomplished screenwriter/playwright. One of his feature length screenplays, 'Zero Feet Away', was included on 2021's 'Bloodlist' and optioned by Village Roadshow Pictures/Brillstein Entertainment Partners while another, 'Departing Seniors', recently wrapped principal photography and is in post production. His debut novel 'Testament' was published by Ninestar Press. His work tends to apply his experience as a Gay, Mexican American, Person of Color to the horror genre, while bringing in the humor and wit of influences such as Jordan Peele, Diablo Cody, Wes Craven, and more.
