Shoumyoroop (a.k.a Roop) has been working with BuzzFeed Studios as the Post Production Manager and is responsible for handling Production Deliverables for feature films done across the Studio.
Earlier he worked as a Broadcast Post Producer, with McCann Worldgroup, executing briefs for popular clients namely Loreal, Garnier, Maybelline and BMW.
He has been working for a decade in the Media & Entertainment industry, spanning across India, APAC and the US
Throughout his career, he made significant contributions to the industry, collaborating with esteemed organizations such as Tasia Films, a renowned Hong Kong-based production company, working on international documentaries and TV commercials, further enhancing his industry knowledge.
Having worked as an Editor & Post Producer with Bollywood actor Priyanka Chopra's production company, Purple Pebble Pictures, Roop has worked on numerous feature film projects done by the company, right from the developing stage of content to the finished product.
His experience extends to diverse projects, ranging from feature films and music videos to promos, brand films, and TV/Digital commercials.
Roop completed his BMM (Bachelor of Multimedia & Film Making) from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata, while moving ahead to have a PGDM in Film Editing from Digital Academy, Mumbai.
As a hobby, he likes to play the guitar and compose music and spends most of his weekends with friends, and or, watching movies, especially Horror and Thriller.
The ultimate motto of his life is to create engaging and entertaining content, with an immersive experience for the audience and viewers, filling them with a bright smile.
