Aaron Mastriani was born in Mesa, AZ and raised in El Paso, TX. Growing he enjoyed watching and taping old movies on TBS and TNT, and soon Turner Classic Movies. A cinephile was born. After graduating from Irvin High School in El Paso left for Texas Tech University, eventually receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts.
Since entering the film industry Aaron has received training in numerous acting methods such as Ivana Chubbuck and Sanford Meisner as well several years' training in improv. He has also studied under character actor Basil Hoffman. He has booked several roles in commercials and short films, as well as auditioned for several films and TV shows. Aaron is an analytical, clever, All-American risk-taker. His essence is that of an enthusiastic dad, a warm-hearted teacher, or a geeky and lovable older brother; who can play a vast range, from the laid-back, joke-cracking aerospace engineer, to the trustworthy and caring high school coach, to the zany office-mate. He has the determined, analytical power of Michael Shannon meeting the dramatic, All-American intensity of Peter Sarsgaard and combined with the funny and unpredictable versatility of Sam Rockwell. In addition to acting and writing, Aaron is surprised to find himself in the realm of producing as well. He was an Executive Producer for the award-winning feature Millennium Bugs. He is also an Associate Producer on the upcoming horror film The Desecrated Ones as well as the documentary In Search of Tomorrow.
Aaron is very excited to see where this winding road leads. Thankfully he can look at it with a sense of humor, which has come in handy many times, whether it's in this crazy business or the various happenstance or tragedies of Life.
