- During the filming of a McCains commercial, Jayden had to pretend to be asleep. The Director positioned his sleeping pose and asked Jayden not to move. As they were about to film, there were some technical difficulties and some time went by...enough time for Jayden to fall asleep. The Director laughed and said "he's exactly where we want him". In the commercial, the scene where Jayden is sleeping in the bunk bed is actually him sleeping.
- He is a huge Star Wars enthusiast.
- His grandparents are of Scottish and Italian descent.
- Received awards from The Canadian Talent and Model Convention (CMTC) April 2010. 1st place Dance (ages 4 - 11), 2nd place T.V. commercial (ages 4 - 7), and 2nd place Monologue (ages 4 - 11).
- His very first job was a Pizza Hut commercial introducing Cheesy Bites to Canada.
- Has been playing rep level hockey in the GTHL (Greater Toronto Hockey League and North York Hockey League) since he was 5 years old.
- Received 2 nominations from the Young Entertainer Awards (2015) for the categories of: Best Young Actor Voice Over Role 12 and under for Playdate (2015), and Best Young Actor Live Theatre for "A Christmas Story".
- He is the older brother of actress Eva Greig.
