This week, Alya is joined by Masha (voiced by Yukiyo Fujii) and Yuki (voiced by Wakana Maruoka) for a new rendition of "Hare Hare Yukai"—the now legendary ending theme from the first season of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya . Akuma Kun is an anime series directed by Junichi Sato, and Fumitoshi Oizaki. The series is set to be released on November 9 on Netflix. It’s based on the manga by Shigeru Mizuki.
If you’re in the mood for a enjoyable Japanese animated series with a “retro” vibe, then you’re in luck because here comes Akuma Kun. He’s not the friendliest or funniest guy, but that’s why he’s quite amusing.
He has come to Earth to confront demons through pentagrams, curses, and more, but neither the demons nor society will make it easy for him or his assistant, Mephistopheles, who complains all day long.
This is a very entertaining series featuring the star Yuki Kaji, a true gem in Japanese voice acting who once again showcases his talent and versatility.
