Jordan Hall is an award-winning playwright and screenwriter whose work focuses on the exploration of genre, sociopolitical inequality, ecological crisis, and the creation of deeply-compelling female protagonists. Her work has been dubbed "fresh and funny" by The Daily Mail, "sharp and witty" by Broadway World, and "a zesty treat" by The Telegraph. She's best known for her plays Kayak and How to Survive an Apocalypse, and for the web series Carmilla, which she co-created and wrote for Shaftesbury. Carmilla has over 70 million views worldwide, won a Canadian Screen Award for Digital Fiction, and its cult fandom sustained it for three seasons and fan-funded movie. Most recently, Jordan has been awarded a Corus Writer's Apprentice Fellowship at Banff, and a residency with the Pacific Screenwriting Program Scripted Series Lab, and worked as a story editor for Family Law seasons 2 & 3.
