Laxman Singh, also known as Rakesh Kumar Lakshman, is a renowned novelist, author, and scriptwriter, known for his compelling investigative crime thrillers/murder mysteries. He has authored novels such as The Mystery of a Mother's Murder (English), 3 Lovers 3 Murders (English), Love Mystery & the Devils (English), The Mysterious Husband & The Spectacled Killer (Hindi), Love, Friends & Black Murder (Hindi), etc.

Laxman's television contributions are equally impressive. He penned almost 750 episodes of renowned shows like "CID", "Chacha Chaudhary", "Chhoomantar," "Police Files", "Shaktimaan", and "Sautela". As an extension of the Shaktimaan serial, he created "Body Is Temple," engagingly emphasizing health awareness. He wrote telefilms on the child lives of India's national heroes, such as Dr. Ambedkar, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, Sardar Valabh Bhai Patel, etc.

Laxman also wrote a few episodes of R.K Laxman Ki Duniya aired on SAB TV. He worked in the Creative Team of India's First Daily Soap Shanti aired on DD1.

True to his passion for addressing societal issues, Laxman wrote episodes on acid attacks, dowry, and crime against women for shows like "Crime Patrol", "Crime Alert", "IPS Diary", "Savdhaan India." His unique blend of fiction and reality came alive in series like "Arjun - Har Yug Mein Aaega Ek!" and "Mahisagar."

Beyond this, he possesses a versatile talent, adeptly crafting social and emotional dramas, hilarious comedy sitcoms, children's shows, and impactful commercial movies. His writing journey began during his school years when he penned mysterious stories. He frequently wrote stories for "Suman Saurabh," a monthly publication by Delhi Press Publications, "Lot-Pot", "Meri Saheli", etc.

Laxman Singh has also written Dubbing Scripts for several web series as well as for several Hollywood & South Indian movies.
